The Refurb Process …
We take your old tired looking cabinets and re-laminte them to give them a new lease of life.
The process takes around 4 weeks and we can arrange a loan pair of speakers for you in the mean time if requested. Call us now to discuss what we can do.

We take your old tired looking cabinets and re-laminte them to give them a new lease of life.
01.
We start with removing the drive unit and crossover along with the baffle. We will send the drive unit away to be checked and if needed this will be re-conned. We also can replace the crossover if necessary.

Once we remove the drive units we start to get to work on the cabinets. We will overlay the cabinets with 6mm birch ply, we find this the best solution to applying the new laminate, as if you work directly onto the old laminated it can often peel away as the underneath may be to weak and not able to take the new laminate.

Once the cabinet is laminated in your choice of real wood veneer we then apply 5 coats of Danish Oil, this will make the speakers look natural and also means we can apply new oils once in a while to avoid the laminate drying out and keeps them looking fresh.

Lastly, we look at what colour speaker grill cloth you would like we have many colours and can use original Tygan. If you’re a grill off type of person that is not a problem ,we can also build new sub baffle and laminate this too.
